Susie Chang is the Designer & Program Manager for the d.school's Products & Publications and Future Foundations programs. Previously at the d.school, she facilitated design thinking workshops for social sector leaders to learn tools and mindsets for creative problem solving.Â
She has 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and program management with organizations ranging from local grassroots community collaboratives to international development agencies. She led global education initiatives as a Program Officer in Afghanistan and Country Director in Tajikistan of Relief International, and worked on environmental justice and workforce development programs as the Founder & Executive Director at GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles, an affiliate of the U.S.’s largest nonprofit solar installer.
Susie has led thousands of corporate and nonprofit leaders through experiential learning programs, and was the previous Director of The Culture Conference, an immersive event on organizational design and culture. She received her BA in International Development Studies from UCLA.
